Casa Sorelle is about family and heritage. We are two sisters from Toronto, Ontario, Canada who turned our dream of owning a European property into a reality. And on a shoestring budget! When we first visited Calabria it was love at first sight and we instantly knew that this land was going to change our lives. Soon after we purchased the property, we discovered that our great-grandfather (seated in the middle of the above photo) grew up on the opposite side of the same mountain! A great coincidence and a hat's off to fate - Heritage will always find you!
Our feisty Italian grandmother (she is second row, far right) taught us that the heart of the home is always in the kitchen. Bringing our oil to your table is a part of that heartfelt tradition!
Our family olive farm is located in the beautiful mountain side village of Cleto, Calabria in Southern Italy.
